About Us
House Paws In-Home Veterinary Care was started in 1994 by Dr. Leah R. Knode. Dr. Knode is licensed in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Dr. Knode is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and is a member of VIN, the Veterinary Information Network. VIN allows Doctors to consult on cases and access a knowledge base of veterinary medical information. Dr. Knode has over fifteen years of experience and attends the leading veterinary conferences each year for continuing education to meet or exceed the requirements of the licensing boards. We passionately believe our pet companions deserve the best medical care possible. We believe in preventative care to notice and treat conditions BEFORE a problem becomes a crisis. We believe all animals deserve compassionate gentle care. We encourage open communication with our clients and endeavor to provide quality veterinary health care for all of our patients.
